Murray Hoke has resided for many years in Edmonton, Alberta. Raised in a rural community, he early acquired a love for folk tales, the kind of stories told by everyday people for their amusement or interest. Having worked in several Alberta locations, he always remembered local amusing incidents or human interest stories. As a result, his publications are based largely upon his life experiences.
